The investment objective is to generate income from interest and capital gains from the added value created by short-term bonds, while enjoying low investment risk, coupled with protection against interest rate rises.
To achieve its investment objective, this Investment Compartment follows the investment policy below: Assets are primarily invested in selected corporate and treasury bonds that are traded on international regulated markets. The portfolio’s modified duration is less than 2 years.
To a lesser degree, the Investment Compartment invests in new bond issues, money market instruments and bank deposits.
Based on the average valuation of assets per calendar quarter, the percentage of Investment Compartment assets invested in bonds and deposits must be within the following ranges:
Bonds : from 55% to 90%
Deposits : from 10% to 5%
